Welcome!

Hello! We are the Smith family, based out of the Texas Hill Country! 

Our story in a nutshell:
Like a lot of folks, we began homeschooling when our kiddo, Liam, was in kindergarten and Covid-19 hit. Our journey has taken some twists and turns since then — we homeschooled for a few years, utilized a small one-room schoolhouse option for a year or so, and tried a private school for a year. 

Our takeaway? Homeschooling is the route for us! 

In our household, there’s a lot of talk about our goals for Liam’s education. At the center of it all? Life-long learning. We don’t think learning should end during summer break or at 18. We want our boy to always maintain his curiosity, always question, always follow his interests. 

We think if you can pair those tenets with travel and practical, real-world experiences — that’s a pretty darn good education.
